		<description><![CDATA[Sounds like you had a bit of a slog with this one! I&#039;ve just finished reading it and, to be honest, found the best of way was to read in big chunks. That way I got used to the slightly unusual style and managed to get through it more quickly than I might have done otherwise.

Overall, a terrific read, and from one who finds a lot of history failry dry that is saying something!

		<description><![CDATA[I read 80% of The Sparrow about 6-7 years ago and found the end of the story so heartbreaking I put it down and sadly didn&#039;t pick it up again.

So I&#039;m very happy to say that the Bookclub I organise in London England, The Science Fiction Bookclub, will be reading and discussing The Sparrow in October 2011. :)
